Robert Stephens, LEP, REM, CESCO, Director-Environmental Group, Ramos Engineering & Associates, LLC
Mr. Stephens is the Director-Environmental Group for Ramos Engineering & Associates, LLC. Mr. Stephens is a Graduate of Berea College, Berea, Kentucky. Mr. Stephens has over 50 years of diversified experience in the environmental field, serving as a regulator, consultant, and as an industrial representative. Mr. Stephens has conducted over 800 environmental assessments on sites throughout the U.S. ranging from green fields development to industrial environmental compliance. Mr. Stephens conducted Environmental Site Assessments at U.S. Air Force SAC bases throughout the 48 states. Mr. Stephens, as Manager of Environmental Affairs for Mobil Chemical, developed and implemented an environmental audit compliance program for the entire company, and served on Mobil's acquisition/divestiture team. Mr. Stephens is a co-founder of the former Florida Environmental Assessors Association and current member of the Board of Directors of the International Society of Technical & Environmental Professionals (INSTEP). Mr. Stephens serves on the faculty of the INSTEP’s Certification Course and teaches in the Florida Chamber of Commerce's Environmental Permitting Schools. Mr. Stephens is an INSTEP certified Licensed Environmental Professional (LEP).
